wrapology sampling ppe visors to help fight covid
Throughout April, Wrapology has been on stand-by to support communities such as the Further Education colleges turning their dormant 3D printing and engineering labs into researching and producing PPE visors for their communities.
By Wrapology staff remotely accessing our on-site studio CAD cutter, we were able to receive in artworks, run and edit versions outputting in various materials such as APET0.3mm, double side anti -fog, one side scratch-proof firm up as well as patterns in folding carton boards of various weights materials. By accessing this technology remotely, it allowed us to have just one staff member on site at the height of the COVID-19 crisis. Samples were sent out within 48hours.
In the words of our favourite local hero, Sue Harris from the IOM3 (Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining) #ppe4nhs who has been encouraging her network for donations of goods and services at this time, #Kindness is Magic.
